  1. Did I mention that I requested (and have, since, borrowed) the Field Guide to Getting Lost? I haven’t started yet – maybe May. *laughs* Part of me just wants to sit down and read her from beginning to end. Part of me likes knowing there are a bunch in the wings.

    1. You hadn’t, but that makes me so happy to read, hope you enjoy it! I definitely can empathize with that feeling. With Solnit I like absorbing her work over the course of several days, just because her essays offer so much to think about. Her recent pop-political collections are really accessible and seem meant for a single sitting, hoping she releases a longer book again soon.
